Your greatest work is ahead! The National Security Sector at Leidos
is hiring for a Senior Interactive Graphic Designer / Developer to
join our team supporting a U.S. federal government intelligence
agency. This role involves working closely with analysts to
understand their requirements and using your graphic design skills
to enhance and convey analytic thoughts and assessments. The ideal
candidate will have a passion for design and a knack for turning
complex information into compelling visual stories. This position
is contingent upon contract award. What you'll be doing: * Use
technology to design and develop a wide range of intelligence
products, integrating interactive graphics with text, audio and
video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility
finished intelligence products.
* Produce dynamic content in accordance with Intelligence Community
(IC) published standards, including podcasts and audio
segments.
* Mentor junior designers, providing technical guidance and
support. What does Leidos need from me? * Must have an active Top
Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a
TS/SCI with Polygraph.
* Minimum 12 years of experience in graphic design, with at least a
portion of the experience within the last two years.
* Experience with HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Java Script,
d3.js, leaflet.js, Angular, or Typescript.
* Demonstrated proficiency in professional graphics and design
software to include, but not limited to: Adobe Creative Suite
(InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and
Flash), Apple Final Cut Pro X, and Apple Mac hardware platforms,
Map Publisher, Microsoft 365, and any other interactive graphics
enablers, languages, or tools specified.
* Knowledgeable of and demonstrated ability to apply IC and DoD
classification guidelines and procedures.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and with no
oversight.
* Demonstrated ability to use logic when evaluating and
synthesizing multiple sources of information.
* Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise
graphics.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a
concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with
strong grammar skills.
* Demonstrated ability to research and obtain, evaluate, organize,
and maintain information within security and data protocols.
* Demonstrated ability to recognize nuances and resolve
contradictions and inconsistencies in information.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of complex analytic methodologies,
such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches,
to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate
uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise.
- Favorable if you have: * In-depth knowledge and demonstrable
experience with the intelligence production cycle, executive
intelligence production, graphic design, web development, and data
science and related technologies.
* Ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to
collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend
solutions.
* Master's degree in an area related to graphic design from a
college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the
U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor's degree related to
graphic design from a college or university accredited by an agency
recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional
five years of related senior experience, for a total of 17 years,
as a substitute to the Master's degree.

after the original posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay
Range $98,150.00 - $177,425.00 The Leidos pay range for this job
level is a general guideline only -and not a guarantee of
compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending
an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the
job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as
well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable
bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
