Job Description:

ActioNet is seeking a ProdOps Engineer for an immediate, REMOTE opportunity with occasional travel (10%) to the Washington, D.C. area. This role requires U.S. citizenship to be eligible for federal government security clearance.As a ProdOps Engineer I, you will play a key role in ensuring our production systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime, quickly identifying and resolving any issues that arise. With 2+ years of experience in production operations, you will leverage your expertise in monitoring tools, incident management, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure to manage and integrate systems across multiple platforms.Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for day-to-day operations and maintenance of the production operations, including planning and coordination, ensuring high availability and performance, managing staff and vendors.
• Monitor production operations and system performance, ensuring continuous uptime and quick issue resolution.
• Support and prepare production environments for deployments, troubleshooting any arising issues.
• Maintain 24x7 operational support for critical systems.Basic Qualifications (required):
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in production operations or system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and incident management.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred:
    • ITIL 4.
    • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
    • Strong troubleshooting skills in a 24x7 production environment.
