outside the commuting areaPosition Description:JTEC Consulting is
hiring a Junior SailPoint Engineer to join our growing team
supporting an Army program for Identity, Credential, and Access
Management (ICAM). The SailPoint Engineer will support
implementation for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
using SailPoint's IdentityIQ (IIQ) Platform.This position is Junior
Level and requires 1-3 years of related experience working hands-on
with SailPoint products. Entry level candidates do not qualify for
the current opening.Contingent Opportunity: Onboarding for the
Junior SailPoint Engineer is contingent upon program approval and
funding.Role and responsibilities include:
- Work as part of a collaborative team implementing IAM solutions
using SailPoint's IIQ platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business
requirements.
- Support configuration for SailPoint solutions to ensure
seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
- Serve a critical role in application onboarding, enhancing
security measures, managing user access, and maintaining compliance
with regulatory standards.
- Integration and API Development: Develop custom integrations
with various applications, directories, and systems using APIs and
connectors provided by SailPoint. Ensure data synchronization and
establish seamless communication between different platforms.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the IAM solutions adhere to
security best practices and comply with relevant regulatory
standards. Implement access control policies, role-based access
control (RBAC), and other security measures to protect sensitive
data.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive technical
documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and
integration details. Prepare reports on system performance, access
governance, and compliance-related metrics.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams
including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure alignment with
organizational policies and standards.
- Work closely with project managers and program leads to meet
schedule and delivery requirements.
- Provide on-site support, as requested.Requirements include:
- Current security clearance
- Bachelor's degree such as Studies in Cybersecurity, Computer
Science, or related discipline preferred
- Equivalent years of related experience may be considered in
lieu of a degree
- Current Security+ certification to meet DOD 8570 IAT Level II
compliance required for consideration
- 1+ years of related experience designing and implementing IAM
solutions
- 1+ years of recent experience implementing enterprise Identity
Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions in one or more of the
following:
- Experience with IGA using SailPoint Identity IQ (SailPoint IIQ)
and/or SailPoint IdentityNow
- Experience with Saviynt Security Manager (SSM) and/or
Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC)
- Experience with IBM Security Verify Governance
- Designing, developing, and advising on Zero Trust ICAM
enterprise architectures
- Experience developing program documentation and reports
- Effective written and verbal English communication skills to
work with a blended government and contractor team
- Ability to convey technical information to a non-technical
audience
- Availability to work on-site at Ft Belvoir or Kingstowne
