Job Description:
Duties * You will be responsible for total logistics and
life-cycle sustainment support of assigned programs. * You will
develop policy, procedures, and instructions for fleet
implementation and logistics operations of assigned programs, * You
will direct and plan for the implementation and logistics a support
of standard, non-standard and commercial items which are obtained
from both Government and non-Government systems. * You will
maintain security for supported programs and balance theses
security requirements with the absolute need to comply with the
requirements of law and regulation. Requirements Conditions of
Employment * Must be a US Citizen. * Must be determined suitable
for federal employment. * Must participate in the direct deposit
pay program. * New employees to the Department of the Navy will be

announcement. * Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the
appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately
following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the
provisions of 5 United States Code 3326. * Males born after
12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service. * You will be
required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security
clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain
the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a
job offer or removal. * This position is covered under the Defense
Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position
is required within established category timeframes * Successful
completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is
required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you
fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You
will be subject to random testing. * This position may require
travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include
remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military
and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * You will be
required to complete ethics orientation within three months of
appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report,
OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment. Qualifications Your resume
must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience
equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the
federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public
sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties
as such: 1) Knowledge of total logistics and life-cycle sustainment
support of assigned programs. 2) Ability to plan, organize, and
coordinate all matters relating to the logistics
activities/functions for assigned programs. 3) Ability to
coordinate with the Navy, other military departments and other
national agencies to ensure sufficiency of logistics policies,
