Job Description:
Duties * Serves as the Information Management Officer (IMO) for
the 1st Information Operations (IO)Command (LAND). * Manages and
supervises the Information Management Program. * Responsible for
providing, obtaining, managing, and/or reviewing a wide variety of
actions related to the overall unit automation and information
management programs. * Assists and coordinates the command
Automated Information Systems (AIS) security programs with the 1st
IOCMD Security Managers. * Exercises expert knowledge, skills, and
abilities in Telecommunications, Automated Information Systems,
Network, and Systems Management and emerging technologies. *
Provides information systems management support to cover all users
on different networks with worldwide coverage. Requirements
Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a
suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed
background investigation. * Appointment to this position is subject
to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has
previously met the requirements as described in DoDI 1400.25 V3005,
Cyber Excepted Service, Employment and Placement. * Must pass an
initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use. *
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret with access to SCI
Security clearance. * This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES)
personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC
1599f. * Incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete the
appropriate training and obtain the required
certification/recertification for this position as outlined in DoD
Publication 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement

Supervisor/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within
the CES Occupational Structure. Army CES positions apply Veteran's

describe one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the

typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be
filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: 1.
Reviewing legal, regulatory policies, and procedural requirements
for an automation and information management program. 2. Analyzing,
classifying, maintaining, and repairing cloud-based data bases,
information systems software, and supported automation equipment.
3. Evaluating new and current technology systems and applications,
and providing recommendations for hardware and software in response
to the organization's needs. 4. Installing, configuring, testing,
and supporting Automated Information Systems. Education Some
federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the
required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must
meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no
substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional
