in complex, global and high-profile litigation, arbitration and
investigations combining end-to-end risk advisory, investigative
and disputes expertise to deliver holistic solutions for our
clients.In this role you will be responsible for supporting the
development and delivery of comprehensive solutions to address
evolving national security threats to our clients. The ideal
candidate will have deep expertise in risk and compliance advisory,
cybersecurity, and investigations, with a focus on critical
industries such as healthcare, financial services, and energy. This
role will require working closely with domestic and international
clients to safeguard sensitive data, intellectual property, and
critical assets from foreign actors and other adversarial
threats.What You'll Do
- Perform a wide range of national security engagements in a
fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment; summarizing the results
accurately and concisely in written reports for a sophisticated
client base consisting of top-tier law firms, financial
institutions and corporations; managing consultants on engagements
which involve teams of investigative researchers; and providing
oral reports to clients, when appropriate.
- Develop strategies to expand the portfolio of services offered
and improve the efficiency and consistency of service
delivery.
- Advise clients on compliance with regulatory requirements,
including export controls, CFIUS reviews, sanctions, and other
trade restrictions.
- Conduct investigations into national security threats,
including insider threats, espionage, intellectual property theft,
and cross-border data sharing.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including cybersecurity,
export controls, strategic communications, and data analytics, to
deliver multidisciplinary solutions to complex client
challenges.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government
agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with national
security protocols.
- Support business development activities by identifying
opportunities for expanding the national security offering and
advising clients on emerging risks.
- Monitor and assess geopolitical developments, regulatory
changes, and emerging technologies that may impact national
security.
- Lead modification and enhancement of proposals.How You'll

next role.What You Will Need To SucceedBasic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant post-graduate professional experience in
research or analysis within a corporate investigations firm,
government agency, or a related organization, with a strong focus
on national security issues. Experience in both sectors is a
plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly
in high-pressure environments.
- Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects
effectively.
- Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United
States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa
