Responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures under the direction of a physician including; extra-cranial and intra-cranial angiography -vertebroplasty other spinal injections - myelograms and cisternograms.

• Provides technical support for muscoskeletal procedures to include: discograms aspirations and therapeutic injections.
• Responsible for technical support of neurointerventional procedures including: tumor epistaxis and spinal lesion embolization using particulate liquid and detachable technologies.
• Operates required imaging equipment using established guidelines and imaging protocols.
• Ensures proper safety standards are met.
• Instructs students and residents and performs preceptor duties when necessary.
• Performs quality assurance checks on equipment.
• Assists in maintaining supply inventory.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of Medical Center information systems.
• Demonstrates knowledge of coding procedures.
• Learns new techniques and technology by attending lectures seminars and educational readings.
• In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.Position Compensation Range: $36.01 - $57.62 HourlyMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography required. -Associate's Degree in Radiography preferred.Experience: 1 year relevant experience -Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required. -ARRT (VI) certification preferred.
