Technician Intern - Spring 2025 Job Category: Intern/Co-op Time Type: Part time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Part-Time On-Call Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: * Utilize your technical skills while working alongside government personnel to learn how to integrate, operate, test, and maintain unique technical systems. This position will be 100% onsite at our Fort Belvoir, VA location. Responsibilities: * Assist with laboratory and field-testing equipment. * Must be willing to learn about the following technologies: hyperspectral, LiDAR, polarimetric, and broadband sensors. Work alongside government personnel to learn how to integrate, operate, test, and maintain these systems. * Technical responsibilities will include maintaining software code for multiple military systems, developing code to improve sensor operation and integration of new cameras onto test platforms. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: * Must be working towards a degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) related field.
* Must demonstrate a high aptitude for learning how to work with complex and technical systems.
